The President's Corner
See what our President, Keith Solomon, has to say:
Welcome to the Epsilon Delta chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi, founded in 1998 at the University of Maryland. We are a strong brotherhood consisting of 50+ men and we continue to grow every semester. We are a non-hazing fraternity and we constantly look for new members who display the values of honor, charity, purity, patriotism, and silence. Our new member program allows our new members to develop unique qualities that will help not only to develop them personally, but also to prepare them to be a gentleman for life. Once initiated, brothers will have the unparallelled opportunity to be a leader within the fraternity and play a vital role in improving the chapter. All members will have the opportunity to plan, organize, and participate in a variety of service events throughout the year. Members of Alpha Sigma Phi enjoy a well rounded college experience. In the past year our members have volunteered with numerous organizations including Kid Power DC, Compassion Center, and various other local organizations. Every spring we hold our annual philanthropy event, the KMF classic is a 3 X 3 basketball tournament that is held in memory of our brother Kennedy Michael Fitzgerald, and we hope to raise over $5,000 dollars this spring for the Breast Cancer Foundation, Livestrong and Save the Bay. Every spring brothers travel to Assateague Island for a 2 night camping retreat. Alpha Sigma Phi offers endless opportunities to our members, as we mold gentleman and enrich the undergraduate experience. Website maintained by Aaron Worku |
